MEET THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE AILESBURY SHOW TEAM 'AILESBURY GHOST KING' (UK IR INT CH COLLOONEY HE'S THE ONE X COURTHILL COIN OF THE REALM) . 
 'HARLEY' IS NOW 16 MONTHS OLD  , HE HAS WON BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW AT BOTH THE WHIPPET CLUB OF IRELAND CH. SHOW AND ALSO KILLKENNY ALL BREED CH. SHOW. HE HAD HIS FIRST OUTING IN THE PUPPY CLASS AT BRAY CH. SHOW AND WON RGSD BEHIND HIS DAD 'BRAD' . WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR NEW YOUNG BOY.'HARLEY' IS NOW QUALIFIED FOR THE PUP OF THE YEAR FINAL AFTER WINNING THE PUPPY STAKES AT BANGOR AND NORTH DOWN CH. SHOW. A BIG THANKS TO JUDGE MRS J WALL AND MISS A ROBERTSON WHO HANDLED HARLEY ON THE DAY. HE IS ALSO QUALIFIED FOR CRUFTS.HARLEY NOW HAS 3 GREENSTARS AND 1 CACIB .

SOME RECENT NEWS FROM S.A. BRODY TOOK BEST OF BREED,G3 AND BEST JUNIOR IN SHOW LAST WEEKEND IN JOBERG. BRODY NOW HAS 4 CC'S . 

COURTHIL CATCH A SHADOW

WE ARE VERY PROUD AT AILESBURY  TO HAVE COURTHILL CATCH A SHADOW AT OUR KENNEL. 'ESTER' IS FROM A LITTER WHICH BRAD SIRED IN THE UK TO THE TOP WINNING BITCH UK CH COURTHILL CAST A SHADOW.  'ESTER' MADE HER  DEBUT IN THE IRISH SHOW RING AT THE IKC NATIONAL IN SEPT. WHERE  SHE TOOK BEST OF BREED AND 2ND IN THE GROUP, judge Mr G Hill(UK), WHAT A START!!! SHE HAS ALREADY GAINED HER STUD BOOK NUMBER AFTER TAKING THE RCC AT SOUTHERN COUNTIES'11. 'ESTER' ALSO REPRESENTED MANCHESTER DOG SHOW AT THE RECENT UK PUP OF THE YEAR . SHE  ENDED THE YEAR TOP UK WHIPPET PUPPY FOR 2011.'ESTER' TOOK THE BCC AT CRUFTS AND HAS 3 GREENSTARS , 2 WITH BOB, G1, 2 G2's AND RBIS.

'INDY' IR CH COLLOONEY THATS THE ONE AT AILESBURY (IR UK INT CH COLLOONEY HE'S THE ONE X STONEFOX TRINITY) GAINED HIS TITLE IN STYLE AT CLONMEL CH. SHOW BY WINNING THE GROUP THAT DAY AND ALSO TAKING 3RD PLACE IN  BEST IN SHOW .

INDY MAKES HISTORY

IN 2008 AT 18 MONTHS OLD 'INDY' IR CH COLLOONEY THATS THE ONE AT AILESBURY MADE HISTORY BY BECOMING THE FIRST EVER CHAMPION OF JUNIOR CHAMPIONS IN IRELAND UNDER IKC RULES. 

RUNNER UP TOP SHOWDOG '07

IN 2007 BRAD WAS CROWNED TOP SIGHTHOUND FOR THAT YEAR AND RUNNER UP TOP SHOW DOG ALL BREEDS .

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK  VIV AND CLAIRE AT COLOONEY KENNEL FOR ALLOWING US TO HAVE 'BRAD' 'INDY' AND 'MANDY'. THEY HAVE BEEN A REAL PLEASURE TO OWN.

COURTHILL COIN OF THE REALM

'AMELIE' COURTHILL COIN OF THE REALM CAME TO AILESBURY NEARLY TWO YEARS AGO NOW.
SHE WAS SHOWN BRIEFLY ON HER ARRIVAL WINNING BEST OF BREED AND THE GROUP ON HER FIRST OUTING. SINCE THEN SHE HAS CLAIMED HER JUNIOR CH. TITLE , PICKED UP A RCC AT WELKS LAST YEAR GAINING HER STUD BOOK NUMBER. EARLIER THIS YEAR SHE PRODUCED 7 BEAUTIFUL PUPPIES TO OUR TOP WINNER 'BRAD'. SHE HAS BEEN SHOWN LIGHTLY SINCE HER LITTER AND NOW HAS FIVE  GREENSTARS TO HER CREDIT.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US......

We have made this website so that you can share our lives, see our pictures and leave a message in our guestbook. Hopefully you will enjoy our dogs as much as we do. Ailesbury Kennels was founded by my parents  Fred and  Ann Cuthbert over fifty years ago. My husband Colin and I are delighted to be able to carry on with this very successful kennel name. Over the years we have had many champions at our kennel in breeds such as Afghan Hounds Borzoi's Old English Sheepdog's  Skye Terrier's  Deerhounds and Whippets of course.
At the age of seven my parents bought me my first Whippet Ailesbury Peach Blossom  and I have had a Whippet around the house ever since. As a founder member of the Junior Handler's Assoc  in Ireland I have enjoyed many years around the breed rings as well as taking part in junior handling. In the early eighties I was runner up junior handler of the year with my Whippet Shillelagh Lady Ashe. It only seems like yesterday. After many years in the breed we are delighted to be the very proud owners of Irelands top winning Whippet for the past six years GB IR and INT Ch Collooney Hes The One. Brad has also been top sight hound for three year's and was runner up at the Irish Show Dog Of The Year final in 07.He is also Irelands top showdog all beeds for 2010. Brad  has three CC's, two with best of breed and three reserve CC's. One of his reserve CC's being at Crufts 2009 and holds the title of Uk Top Whippet stud dog for 2011. Brad's son Indy IR Ch Collooney thas the one also made a little bit of history by becoming the very first IKC junior champion of champion's in 2008.Other members of our whippet show team include IR Ch Kellyvale kissing a fool , Courthill coin of the realm (jun ch),Ailesbury ghost king and Courthill catch a shadow. We also show Borzoi and Skye terrier at our kennels.
 We have had so much fun over the year's with our dog's and we are looking forward to many more.  We hope you enjoy our site!!

Just a note to say Ailesbury winter warrior/ Gavin has now been renamed Conor. He,s a very loving boy and loves our 2 whippets, greyhound, lurcher and terrier.
